Event type and task to run

Check the Enabled box to enable current event. Then specify what task do you want to run:

Shutdown in Normal mode

Restart in Normal mode

Logoff in Normal mode

Standby in Normal mode

Hibernate in Normal mode

Lock workstation

Shutdown in Forced mode

Restart in Forced mode

Logoff in Forced mode

Standby in Forced mode

Hibernate in forced mode

In Type of automatic event, choose:

Fixed time (current automatic event activates when computer's time is the specified time to run event).

Example: if time to run event is 18:00:00, the event is activated at that time only (seconds ignored, +/- 1 minute of space). This means, if you started your computer after 18:00, the event is not activated. If you started your computer before 18:00, the event will be activated at that time.

Beyond time (current automatic event activates if computer's time is beyond the specified time to run event).

Example: if time to run event is 18:00:00, the event will not be activated before 18:00. But if your computer's time is beyond 18:00, the event is activated no matter what time is (if after 18:00).

Countdown timer (you specified how many hours, minutes and seconds in time to run event). When Shutdown Manager and Tools is launched, the countdown for this event (if enabled) is started and the event is activated after countdown is terminated.

Example: if you set time to run event to 02:00:00, the countdown will be started automatically (if event is enabled) when Shutdown Manager and Tools is started (usually when Windows starts), and the event will be activated after 2 hours.

Windows uptime (you specify how many hours, minutes and seconds in time to run event). This is similar to the countdown timer described above, but the time reference is the value reported by your Windows operating system: time Windows is "up" (working).

Example: if you set time to run event to 05:00:00, the event is activated when Windows Uptime is beyond 5 hours. If you want to see Windows Uptime, go to Main Menu / Help / About.

Time to run event is in 24 hour format for clock time (HH:MM:SS).
